Hi, I’m Brighid O’Sullivan and I’ll tell you a little secret that no one else knows! It’s not my real name. Brighid O’Sullivan is my pen name. I chose this name because my great grandmother was born with it. She emigrated from Ireland and settled around Springfield Massachusetts. That’s in the United States. I’m very grateful to my Irish grandmother. Because of this young gutsy woman who left everything she ever knew behind to come to a strange country, I live in the best country in the world, second only to Ireland. Of course I’m a little biased. If It were not for Brighid O’Sullivan, I would have no interest in Irish history either and I’m so amazed at what my relatives went through under English rule and what they’ve accomplished despite those challenges. I even wrote a book about it, 100 Things You Didn’t Know About Ireland. You don’t have to read my book but I’d love it if you would visit my site, comment on what you like and possibly subscribe or join my newsletter so I can share this brilliant history of the Irish people with you. I live in Victor New York with my husband, a few gold fish and numerous grandchildren whom I am blessed enough to play with on a daily basis.
I would love to hear from you.
